Las Vegas has a reputation as an adults-only playground. However, just beyond the Strip, residents enjoy pleasant suburban communities, world-class restaurants and beautiful parks undisturbed by the glare of neon lights. Fort Myers Broadcasting’s WINK Fort Myers-Naples, Fla. (DMA 53) need a full-time a network administrator IT responsible for managing and maintaining the local area network utilizing leading edge infrastructure and systems, including Cisco, VMware and VoIP.

You will support specialized on-air broadcast systems, news, sales and production systems, as well as end-user systems support. This is a hands-on position in a mid-sized news-oriented broadcast television environment. Must have Windows Server/Desktop OS understanding and proficiency.

You will provide technical guidance and support to end-users and support wireless & remote connectivity installation / management / support. Must have leadership and advanced troubleshooting / analytical skills and experience with web-based applications. Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines. Related military experience will be considered.

KUSI San Diego (DMA 29), which describes itself as “a leading independent news station and San Diego’s local leader,” is looking for a dynamic assistant news director.

This position plays a leading role in all editorial meetings, lead producer rundown meetings, assisting in the management of the stations’ news operations, establishing goals and directing the staff that produces 9 1/2 hours of local news daily.

You will be responsible for managing content delivery for all broadcasts, scheduling of all newsroom personnel, and direct content generation to web and mobile platforms.

The position works closely with senior management to establish news content and review daily newscasts to ensure quality control and brand compliancy, subsequently provide feedback to all news staff, especially producer staff.
