The creative services director candidate will be an aggressive, strategic leader who can create and execute powerful and compelling marketing messaging for our company and our advertising clients. This role is a Department Head position reporting to the General Manager whose primary responsibility is the development and execution of marketing strategies for and across KAKE’s broadcast channels, mobile apps, and website.
The meteorologist’s primary duties will be on-air weekend afternoons and nights, plus three days with a mix of on-air, weather producing, and digital. This position is highly involved on-air during continuous severe weather coverage. Radar interpretation skills, including the ability to value add and properly communicate threats live on-air, rather than rely solely on NWS is paramount.
The MMJ duties will be to develop, shoot, write and present stories as assigned for newscasts, specials or special projects. In addition, you will support and champion the KAKE News Brand, post video and stories on web and mobile platforms, and possess aggressive and competitive qualities with an overriding sense of good journalism, and fair reporting.
